Frequently asked questions
Clear answers before
the work begins.
Start here for practical information about scope, appointments, deliverables, pricing, payments, and the limits of advisory consulting.
01Is an appointment request immediately confirmed?
No. The calendar collects your preferred weekday and time window. Ivanyuk Consulting reviews the service, site, travel, access, and availability before confirming the visit.
02Where does Ivanyuk Consulting work?
The practice serves California by appointment. Exact availability, travel, and any location-related costs are confirmed during scoping before an engagement begins.
03What happens before work begins?
You receive a written estimate or scope describing the service, deliverables, customer inputs, exclusions, timing, and price. A website inquiry or appointment request by itself does not create an engagement.
04Is a safety inspection a government or regulatory inspection?
No. Ivanyuk Consulting provides advisory reviews based on the visible conditions, records, and areas included in the written scope. Reports are not AHJ approval, certification, or a guarantee of compliance.
05What can an inspection report include?
Depending on scope, the report can include a walkthrough record, evidence photographs, finding locations, priority, recommended actions, an executive summary, and a secure customer copy. The estimate identifies the actual deliverables for your project. See a sample report.
06How long does a site visit take?
The appointment page provides planning ranges for each inspection type. Actual time depends on site size, access, operations, records, and the agreed scope, so it is confirmed before the appointment.
07Are plan-design services the same as architectural or engineering services?
Not automatically. Consulting plans can support evacuation, facility safety, and operational communication. The written scope states the intended use and whether licensed design, permit review, or AHJ approval must be obtained separately.
08Is a project estimate a fixed construction bid?
No. An estimate is a planning figure based on the stated scope, available information, assumptions, and exclusions. Vendor, labor, material, permit, and construction costs can change.
09Does Ivanyuk Consulting teach classes?
No. The current service is curriculum and safety-training design: program structure, presentations, instructor guidance, learner materials, job aids, and assessments. Live instruction is not part of the current service.
10How is pricing determined?
Engagements are scoped and quoted before work begins because site size, travel, available information, deliverables, and review needs vary. The customer sees the amount and written scope before approving payment.
11How do customer payments work?
A customer receives a private payment link tied to an approved estimate or payment request. The page shows the exact amount before checkout. Available card, digital-wallet, or PayPal options appear only when the corresponding provider is connected and supported for that customer.
12How are reports and payment links protected?
Customer documents and payment requests use hard-to-guess private links. Treat those links as confidential and do not forward them. Contact Ivanyuk Consulting if a link should be replaced or access needs attention.
13What if a project changes after the estimate is approved?
Material scope changes should be documented before the additional work proceeds. The original estimate continues to describe the original work; an updated scope or estimate should describe the change.
14What are the cancellation and refund rules?
The public payment and refund terms explain cancellations, work already performed, corrections, and approved refunds. A project-specific written agreement controls if it states different terms. Read the payment and refund terms.
