About the practice

Measured judgment.
Clearly documented.

Ivanyuk Consulting is an independent California consulting practice built around careful fieldwork, disciplined scope, and client documents that are direct enough to use.

Why the practice exists

Important decisions deserve a record people can follow.

Facilities, operations, and training programs rarely fit a generic checklist. Ivanyuk Consulting turns the actual site, available evidence, and intended outcome into a clear scope and a controlled deliverable.

The goal is not to make a document sound more certain than the work supports. The goal is to show what was reviewed, what was learned, what remains outside scope, and what should happen next.

Working principles

A disciplined path from question to deliverable.

01

Define the work

The intended use, site, deliverables, inputs, exclusions, and review points are written down before the engagement begins.

02

Use what is verified

Observations, customer-provided information, measurements, photographs, and assumptions are kept distinct so the record remains understandable.

03

Deliver something usable

The final plan, estimate, report, or training package is organized for the people who must review it, act on it, and retain it.

The consultant

One consultant.
Every file.

Ivanyuk Consulting is the independent practice of Sergey Ivanyuk, principal consultant. The person who walks your site is the person who scopes the engagement, prepares the documents, and answers the phone afterward—there is no handoff between a salesperson, a field tech, and a report writer.

That continuity is deliberate. Findings carry more weight when the observer, the author, and the point of contact are the same person, and questions about a report get answered by the person who stood in the room.

Qualifications & boundaries

Matched to the written scope—not implied by a marketing label.

Different projects can require different experience, documentation, licensed disciplines, or review by an authority having jurisdiction. Those requirements are identified during scoping before work begins.

  • The estimate states the intended service, deliverables, assumptions, and exclusions.
  • Any project-specific qualification, insurance, or third-party review requirement is addressed before engagement.
  • Advisory reports do not represent government approval, certification, or a guarantee of compliance.
  • Plans and estimates state their intended use; they should not be treated as permit drawings, engineering documents, or guaranteed construction pricing unless the written scope expressly says otherwise.

Begin with the real need

Ivanyuk Consulting will help define the right next step and put the scope in writing before the work begins.
